Thanks Bev! Our conversation on Friday night was very motivating. I really do need to make time to paint more. it’s more than a hobby i guess. It really taps into a deeper Pete that I should always be in connection with, not just when it’s convenient. I have the other paintings somewhere on the internet. Check this blog post again soon and I’ll add them. I actually never paint on canvas. For one, it’s too generic and has no story behind it. Secondly, my painting process needs a rather non-porous, flat and ridged substrate to work with. Most of them are done on reclaimed wood and some on metal.

Pete, I enjoyed talking to you and Caitlin tonight and had to see your art. Love it, especially the 3 middle ones. You have to keep creating, it is good for you (or any artist) in so many way and for so many reasons. Killer stuff. I’d like to see pics of the other 2 that “you don’t want to sell”.
